What It Does on the Body

The column silhouette keeps the line of the gown narrow through the waist and hips rather than adding volume at the skirt. Across the bodice, overlapping sections of satin create diagonal ruching that brings dimension to the fitted shape and draws the eye across the waist. Soft Satin allows those folds to remain fluid while the smooth lower skirt falls close to the body before opening gently into the train.

Minimalist Does Not Mean Plain

With no lace, appliqués or beading, the construction becomes the decoration. Crisscross ruching changes the direction of the satin across the bodice, while the fabric's natural sheen highlights every fold. From behind, the clean silhouette is finished with a continuous row of covered buttons that travels from the zipper down the skirt and into the train.

We measure your bust, waist and hip and order the size that best fits your largest measurement from Stella York's size chart. Once your gown arrives, our master seamstresses can complete the final fit in-house so the bodice, ruching and streamlined skirt sit correctly on your figure. Alterations are booked separately.
