What It Does on the Body

The structured lace bodice keeps the strapless sweetheart neckline defined, while the smooth satin skirt releases into an A-line rather than following closely through the hips. Because the lace ends around the waist, the change in texture clearly separates the fitted upper portion from the clean skirt below. Matte Satin gives the skirt enough body to maintain its shape while falling in broad, uninterrupted folds.

Romantic on Top, Clean Below

This gown uses contrast instead of sparkle to create interest. Floral lace and scalloping bring detail around the neckline and bodice, but there is no beading and the satin skirt remains completely unembellished. From behind, the long row of covered buttons gives that plain satin a classic finish all the way to the edge of the train.
