The fit stays close through the bodice and hips, with lace appliques following that shape before the skirt releases into fuller layers of tulle. That change gives the lower half more movement than a fit-and-flare cut from one continuous fabric. The illusion inset holds the deep sweetheart plunge in place while preserving its open shape.
