Exposed boning gives the bodice its structure and continues visually into the low point of the basque waist. The skirt releases from there instead of beginning at the natural waist, giving the lace a longer uninterrupted line before it opens into the A-line shape. Glitter tulle underneath adds light through the lace without changing its soft movement.

Ivandra makes sense when you want lace to carry the entire look without heavy beading competing with its pattern. The optional slit gives you one decision that changes how the skirt reads: leave it closed for a continuous lace A-line, or add the opening when you want more movement and a sharper break through the front.

At Dimitra Designs, we start with the gown and what you want it to do, then pull with enough room for you to see the shape fully closed. We measure your bust, waist, and hip, order the size that best fits your largest measurement from Sottero and Midgley’s own size chart, and our master seamstresses complete the fit in-house. Alterations are booked separately, once the gown is in and on you.
