Fit & Construction Details
Serafina Lane keeps the skirt clean and fitted while concentrating its construction through the corset. Topstitching makes the bodice lines visible beneath the lace motifs, and the basque waist extends those lines below the natural waist before the skirt begins to flare. The inner elastic closure adds another layer beneath the zipper, while the alternate lace-up back gives the gown a different closure option.

The lace here is used as an accent instead of covering the entire gown, so you still see the uninterrupted Cartago satin through the skirt. The separate styling pieces can take that idea further: add lace sleeves or the shoulder wrap around the neckline, or bring more volume and lace to the back with the pleated detachable train.
