Kate concentrates its structure through the illusion corset, where exposed boning runs into the pointed basque waist before the skirt opens into an A-line. The fuller skirt moves away from the body below that defined waist, while sparkle tulle keeps light moving underneath the floral lace. Pockets are built into the skirt without changing the overall line.

What You Notice First

The flowers have real dimension instead of reading like a flat lace pattern. Beading and sequins pick up the light on top of the raised motifs, while the sparkle tulle adds another layer underneath. From farther away you see the A-line shape first; up close, the texture of the floral work becomes much more noticeable.
