What It Does on the Body
The basque waist drops below the natural waist before the A-line skirt opens, giving the bodice a long, clearly defined finish. Chantilly lace continues through the skirt without the stiffness of a heavier fabric, while the illusion construction lets the lace motifs and structure of the bodice remain visible. The result is movement below a much more defined upper half.
