Fit & Construction Details
Lassen keeps the sheath skirt close through the hips, while the separate corset bodice creates a more architectural shape above it. Boning defines the bodice vertically and the peplum projects over the hips before meeting the narrow skirt. Layering unembellished Chantilly lace over Elodie Mikado keeps that construction visible while adding an allover pattern without beadwork or sequins.
The Transformation Piece
The separately offered Cartago satin train changes Lassen more dramatically than a small accessory could. Added over the fitted lace skirt, its sculptural folds create substantial volume behind the gown while leaving the narrow lace silhouette visible from the front. Remove it and Lassen returns to its original sheath shape, giving you two distinctly different proportions without changing dresses.
