Julianna follows the body closely through the bodice and hips before opening into the lower fit-and-flare skirt. The basque waist extends the visual line of the bodice below the natural waist, while exposed boning emphasizes its corset construction. Beaded lace motifs sit over glitter tulle throughout the gown, adding texture and subtle light across both the fitted portion and train.
The Illusion Details
Transparency is used in several places rather than only at the neckline. The center plunge, bodice and back all incorporate illusion construction, allowing the lace pattern and boning to remain visible against the body. Separately offered off-the-shoulder cap sleeves extend that same illusion lace over the upper arms without covering the sweetheart shape of the neckline.
