Fit & Construction Details
Elias uses asymmetrical draping to shape the satin across the front of the bodice before it meets the softly pointed basque waist. An inner shapewear corset provides structure beneath the strapless neckline, while the skirt opens dramatically from the waist into a full ball gown with pockets. The smooth Cartago satin keeps the focus on the folds, silhouette and natural sheen of the fabric rather than added embellishment.

The separately offered Cartago satin cap sleeves transform the sweetheart neckline into a soft off-the-shoulder look while matching the gown's clean satin finish. For a more detailed transformation, the designer also offers an illusion jacket with beaded and sequined lace and soft tulle ruching, introducing texture and coverage to an otherwise minimalist satin gown.
