Fit & Construction Details
Adair uses an elongated bodice to carry the fitted silhouette below the natural waist before releasing dramatically into the full satin skirt. Pleating at the exaggerated dropped waist creates architectural volume while maintaining the gown's clean, unembellished finish. The lace-up corset back provides visible structure, while an alternate zipper construction with an inner shapewear corset and covered buttons is also available.

Detachable hip panniers are included with Adair, allowing the shape of the skirt to be adjusted depending on how much volume and definition you want through the hips. Worn with the panniers, the dropped waist transitions into a more dramatic sculptural ball gown shape; removing them creates a softer line while preserving the fullness of the satin skirt and train.
