How It Moves

Viviey stays closely fitted through the torso, hips and upper legs, then changes direction at the knee as layers of tulle open into the mermaid skirt. Those ruffles give the lower half substantially more movement than the fitted lace above it. The halter neckline keeps the shoulders exposed while the illusion section carries the lace higher toward the neck.

This is a gown that changes dramatically from top to bottom. The lace and beadwork keep the fitted portion detailed and close to the body, while the ruffled tulle creates volume exactly where the mermaid silhouette breaks.
