The Waistline Changes Everything
Serena's deep basque waist carries the fitted portion of the gown well below the natural waist before releasing into the A-line skirt. That longer line gives the bodice a more sculpted appearance while still allowing the skirt to have fullness. An inner corset provides additional structure beneath the zipper, and pockets are incorporated into the skirt.
