Dimitra Designs is a full service bridal and special occasion salon serving Upstate South Carolina since 1994. Dimitra Designs is well-known for having a largest selection of bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-wedding dresses, flower girls dresses, tuxedos, shoes and wedding accessories, special occasion dresses such prom, pageant and quinceañera.
There is not sales tax for out of state sales and we offer ground free shipping within the continental U.S. for most of the dresses and bridesmaids orders of 2 or more when sent to one location.
RETURN / EXCHANGE POLICY ALL SALES ARE FINAL because they are specially ordered for you, our customer. As a specialty retail dress salon, we do not issue refunds, do not accept returns, exchanges (see below for exceptions), and/or cancellations in our physical location; this policy extends to our internet customers as well.
Your purchase (a dress and/or any other item) is made by a manufacturer; it is specially ordered and not custom made. Since your purchases are specially ordered in the style, size and color of your choice, we cannot return it to the manufacturer. INSPECTION We carefully inspect each item that is shipped from our store, to make sure that it is the style, size, and color that you ordered, free of damage or defect. We will accept your return or exchange if we sent you the wrong item, (right item will be mailed immediately), the box is damaged during shipment, your order is shipped to the wrong address, or when we are unable to redeliver your dress in time for your event. However, you must notify us within 3 business days of receiving your purchase. We will issue a return authorization number that will allow you to return to us, at your expense, the purchased item in its original package and in its original condition. Exchanges are subject to item availability. We will exchange only sale items and orders paid for by check or money order. Please Note: Any returns or exchanges postmarked after 3 business days of your receipt date, and/or missing a return authorization number will be returned to you at your shipping expense.
When we receive your package, we will inspect your item, check the style, color, measure for size accuracy, etc. Returned items must not have been worn, washed, or altered; they must have all original tags attached to them and must be in their original packaging. Items with snags, rips, make-up stains, odors (i.e. cigarette smoke) or any other damages will be returned to you.
If the item is incorrect or defective, we will inform the manufacturer and you will be issued a repair or replacement as quickly as possible. If there is no time for repair or replacement before your wear date, you will have the option to exchange or return the item for a full refund, including return shipping costs.
If the item is correct and has no flaws, we will return it to you at your expense. You will not be reimbursed for any purchase costs, shipping costs, and will be charged the additional shipping fees to return the item to you.
In rare circumstances, we may choose to approve a return or exchange on an item that is not flawed. In such a case, we will accept the returned item for refund of the purchase price minus a 50% restocking fee or an exchange for a refund of the purchase price minus a 25% restocking fee. Such circumstances must be approved by management via telephone.

AVAILABILITY We must check availability of your chosen item based on three criteria: your wear date, the manufacturer’s delivery schedule, and our shipping time to you. We cannot check availability until you place your order. At this moment, if your item(s) is available, we will place a purchase order with the manufacturer to ensure that your package arrives in time for your wear date. Inventory is subject to change every minute. We keep our website as updated as possible. We can not guarantee the item you want will be available when you order it. If your item(s) is not available, we will not charge your credit card, and we will contact you to discuss the situation.

PLACING ORDERS Orders may be placed on our secure e-commerce website. However, customers not wishing to place their order online may email your phone number to info@dimitradesigns.com or sales@dressprom.net Please include an appropriate time to contact you and your time zone or state where you are calling from. One of our service representatives will contact you to take your order information within 24 business hours. If you prefer, call us at 1-800-898-2101 between 10 AM and 6 PM EST.
Customers may fax their order information by printing the form linked here and faxing it to 864-467-0133. We will process your order after payment and you will receive an email confirmation during the next 24 business hours.
PAYMENT We accept all major debit and credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We recommend this method of payment because it is the fastest and easiest way to expedite your order. We also accept personal checks and money orders. Personal checks and money orders will cause delay in your order processing.
Credit and debit cards will only be authorized for the amount of the purchase at the time the order is placed. First we make sure that your item(s) is available; then we process the order, and charge the full amount to your credit card. However, if we are not able to complete your order, your card will not be charged and you will be notified via e-mail with the details.
Personal checks and money orders should be mailed to us at the time the order is placed. We will deposit your check as soon as we receive it. Orders will not be processed or shipped until your personal check has cleared the bank or money orders are received in our store. Checks and money orders will cause a delay in processing and we can not hold or reserve items while awaiting payment.
If the item ordered is not available, and we are unable to find an acceptable alternative for you, we will issue a refund check for the full amount of the purchase. Please allow 2-4 weeks to receive your refund check. We are not responsible for problems (including loss or delivery problems) that may occur in mailing the refund checks. Should the customer not receive the check within 4 weeks, we will reissue another refund check for the full amount minus a $25.00 stop payment fee for the original check.

COLORS AND EMBELLISHMENTS The only colors available are the ones listed or described on our website. If there is a picture of the color you want, and you cannot figure out the color by name, call us. We will do our best to explain it to you. We cannot custom make it for you. Often colors appear slightly different on the computer monitor than in person, and embellishment or designs may be difficult to discern. We will discuss the differences with you in order to find the best solution for you.
SIZING Size charts and instructions help you determine which size best matches your measurements. Each designer has his own sizing chart; please choose the correct size chart and measure carefully. The charts are located on the pages of every item on our website. We will help you find the best size for you, but the final decision is up to you. ADDITIONAL CHARGES Additional charges may incur for certain specifications. The charges vary from designer to designer and reflect their designer’s set fee.
Extra size fee: It may be applicable on garments size 18 and over.
Extra length: The industry standard for dress length is normally 58” from hollow to hem, it may vary from designer. Options lengths will be display on the order form.
Ordering time: Most of designers offer a rush service for orders that have been placed in a time and they can short their standard production schedule cutting the dresses before. In most of designers offer rush ordering and super rush ordering.
ALTERATIONS We do not provide alterations to our far away clients. Alterations are very personal and specific. Changes are made to fit you. Every body is different and about 99% of customers need alterations even after following the measuring and size chart guidelines. We recommend that you look for a seamstress/alteration shop with formal gowns experience.
SHIPPING We offer FREE ground shipping within the Continental United States for most items shipped and FREE ground shipping within the Continental United States for bridesmaid orders when 2 or more are sent to one address.
Shipping outside the United States should be confirmed. Shipping to customer for wedding gowns and Bridesmaid dresses varies between 8 to 16 weeks. Shipping time for prom, pageant, and formal dresses varies from 1 to 12 weeks depending on availability. Tracking numbers will be sent to customer via e-mail when the items are shipped from our store.
We also ship worldwide via UPS Global Express Mail. The cost for Canada, Alaska and Hawaii is $35.00 and $45.00 for all other countries. These fees cover the first item; each additional item is $10.00.
3rd day delivery fee by air within the United States is: $28.00 Next day delivery fee by air within the United States is: $45.00
APO/FPO addresses are not considered international, so there is no charge for shipping.
CHARGE ON INTERNATIONAL PACKAGES We do not charge any customs when sending our packages. Any customs, fees, taxes, tariffs, duties, etc. that may be incurred at the time of delivery would be at the discretion of your countries tax regulations. We have no way of calculating how much these fees would be, should they occur, and Dressprom.net is not responsible for those charges. For any additional information refer to your local customs agency. Returns will not be accepted due to customs fees. All packages will be insured.
PHYSICAL LOCATION We are an established company and we strive to provide excellent customer service to you. We have been 12 years in our present location. Our retail store is located in Greenville, South Carolina at 303 N Pleasantburg Drive.

The items we sell are carried by other retailers across the United States, but we are not affiliated with any of them.
PRIVACY POLICY We do not give out information about our customers to anyone unless an order is drop shipped from the manufacturer's warehouse. If your order is dropped shipped, the only information given is shipping address and phone number, which is deleted after your item ships. None of the manufacturers share your information.
