How to Take Measurements for Adults

You’ve probably seen size guides alongside your favorite dresses, but do you know how to take measurements? It’s easier than it sounds, and Dimitra Designs is here to show you how. Taking measurements for adults is as easy as measuring the bust, the waist and the hips. Once you have those numbers, you can compare them to the designer’s size chart to find the closest fit possible.

How to Take Measurements for Little Pageant Girls

Shopping for pageant girl dresses? Get the perfect fit every time by learning how to take measurements for little pageant girls. It’s similar to taking measurements for an adult, but with one key difference: instead of a hip measurement, you measure what’s called the hollow to hem. This measurement is always the full length from the hollow of the neck to the floor, regardless of how long the dress is. View our video below for a step-by-step look at how to measure for little girls’ pageant dresses.
